Scrunchies are better than regular hair ties. It avoids rubber band damage in your hair, and they are a fun accessory to spruce up your outfit with color and style. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scrunchie was invented in 1986. It’s no too long ago, right?. It was invented by Romy Revson, a night club singer, and pianist. Her purpose was to create something with fabric instead of plastic or rubber bands to avoid damaging her hair. Revson patented the design in 1987. Eventually, she sold her hair accessory to the brand Scunci<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scrunchies came back in 2017 when Balenciaga showed in its Resort 2018 collection. See below one of the pictures posted on Vogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in 2021, and the scrunchie trend continued with so many varieties to satisfy so many tastes. Look at the picture below, nowadays scrunchies are made from all sorts of fabric. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For me, a scrunchie is more than a hair accessory. It helps me to make a statement and spruce up my outfit. I love it! We all have those days where our hair is messy and not very nice. So, “scrunchie up!”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
